This is a hidden gem! Great customer service and dang good food. We had the plate of crap. It was basically a deconstructed smothered burrito w/out the tortilla. I would definitely come back here. It reminds me of a place my Dad too is to growing up in Salt Lake City.

Many Christmases ago, we drove towards our family cabin in Ouray. We were re-routed through Dove Creek due to a severe snowstorm. Feeling hungry, we took a chance on the Dinner Bell, having zero expectations. Long story short: I don't remember anything about our meals except the incredible biscuits. The best ever! And to top it off, the owner came out and walked my husband through how to make them. Thank you for great biscuits and memories!
Great little cafe right off the highway. Clean, good food, fun atmosphere. Easy parking, for all of the RV'ers. We highly recommend this as a nice stop while on the road!
My family has lived in Dove Creek for generations so I've know the Dinner Bell in all of its iterations. But the renovation and new owners are AMAZING!! Beat green Chile in Colorado. Breakfast is superb, smothered burritos are prime and huge. Please check out The Plate of Crap-as it's all breakfast meats, hash browns eggs and smothered on green Chile or gravy, total yummers! They can handle large groups with big tables in the back. Stop in for breakfast lunch or dinner, you will be glad!! They have some adult beverages, so that's an options and cheers to the ownership and fantastic service!
While passing through Dove Creek Colorado along the Southwestern Adventure Corridor one might find a Gastronomic Fountain of Fast Food Dining Excellence. Yes on one fine day in the month of March On St Patric's Day I came upon a most delicious Irish fair, potatoes, mini carrots and Corned Beef with Cabbage pilled up so high it took my breath away. Ah the Down Home in Dublin Ireland flavors came rushing through. I took my loaded takeaway box and away i did go. Till next time faire thee well Ye"Ol DinnerBell . Driving through in time for lunch, stopped here and so glad we did. We had burgers, grilled ham and cheese sandwiches and a smothered burrito! Delicious and good portions and don't forget to grab the biggest sweet rolls I've seen in years! Very clean and friendly!!
